Our Summer Fashion Favourites from Lands' End Clothing

AD: The sun has finally decided to start making a more regular appearance and it's been lovely! It definitely has me excited for summer, trips to the beach, barbeques with friends and afternoons spent with a cold drink in hand watching the kids splash around in the paddling pool. But before all that I need to do our big winter-to-summer clothes switch, happily chucking the big winter coats and welly boots into the loft for another year, and saying hello to all the pretty summer clothes! 

I don't know about you but I try to reuse a lot of my clothes but love adding a few new key pieces each season which I can use alongside what I already have. Recently, in anticipation of the arrival of summer, I have been checking out the range from Lands' End. Lands' End has fashion for the whole family and their focus is on elegance combined with practicality and comfort which for me makes the perfect match for summer fashion! 

So with that in mind, I have picked out some of my favourite women's pieces that I think would be perfect for this summer and to help inspire you to get your wardrobe summer ready! Check them out below and let me know what you think in the comments. 

Womens Button Front Linen Midi Dress

A linen dress is a must for any summer wardrobe and this midi dress made from 100% linen is perfect for those hot summer days when you want to keep as cool as possible. It features pretty flutter sleeves to keep the sun off your shoulders and practical pockets to keep all of your essentials in. The dress also has a slight elastication to the back of the dress to cinch it in a little and give you some shape in the dress without it being to heaving or clingy. 

The dress is available in 7 different colours and patterns including the neutral colour above, plus darker shades such as black, navy and a beautiful emerald green too! Womens Mid Rise 10" Chino Bermuda Shorts

Shorts are a summer staple for everyone in the family, practical yet cute and easy to wear with almost anything they are the perfect summer wardrobe staple. What makes me love these shorts a little more though is that they are a little more smart that your classic sport style shorts with their chino style so they can be taken from a day at the beach to a restaurant and still feel dressed well. They have handy pockets for all of your essentials and the elasticated waist means they are comfortable to wear and easy to move around in. 

The shorts are available in 11 different colours from black colours to prints such as this ditsy floral print shown above. They are available in regular, petite, and plus and in sizes 8 - 28. 

Womens Packable Raincoat 

Would it really be a good old British summer if you didn't feel the need to have a raincoat on standby at all times? I always carry one for me and the kids and this packable raincoat is perfect for just that. As the name suggests the coat is able to pack down and fit into your bag meaning it can be available whenever you need it. But don't be fooled by its size, this raincoat id made from a laminated fabric that is both lightweight and comfortable to wear but still waterproof too. 

The coat features a mesh lining, elasticated sleeves, and an adjustable hood to ensure you are as comfortable as possible when wearing it and of course, keeping you dry too. My favourite is this classic yellow colour, but if yellow isn't your thing, the coat is also available in a range of colours from brown, green, plus and the one above plus designs such as polka dots or stripes, so there are plenty of designs to choose from. 

Womens Plus Grecian V-Neck Slender Swimsuit

Is there a much better feeling on a hot summer's day than cooling off in a pool of some kind? It might be hopping into the paddling pool with the kids after a long day at work, it could be heading to your local swimming pool for a swim and time to relax or maybe its diving into the splashing waves of the sea from a sandy beach somewhere. Wherever you decide to head to, too cool down, we know you will feel safe and comfortable in yet slimming swimsuit. Women's Sleeveless Jersey Cover-Up 

Following on from the swimwear above, sometimes it can be nice to have something to throw on after being in the water so you don't feel too exposed walking around in your costume. This is where a pretty cover-up can be perfect, especially if you plan on getting in and out of the water regularly or want something you can wear poolside when chatting with friends etc, or even on the beach when you don't want to get your clothes sandy! I love this simple yet cute sleeveless cover-up. 

It features a beautiful embroidered neckline for a touch of detail and is made from super soft, comfortable, and breathable cotton jersey. When on the dress should be around knee length and is available in either regular or plus size sit and in sizes 8 - 24/26.
