**Collaborative Post**
AD: Mother's Day falls on Sunday 19th March this year and it is the perfect way to celebrate the women in our lives. But Mother's Day doesn't have to just be about celebrating your own mum in the traditional sense, it could be celebrating a friend who is a fantastic mum, it could be a relative that stepped up as a mum figure to you or anyone who has been a mother figure in your life, now is the time to celebrate them and let them know just how grateful for them you are.
With that in mind, I have joined forces with Very to showcase some of their fantastic Mother's Day gift ideas for 2023, they have so many great gift ideas there really will be something for every style and budget, check out some of our favourites below.
Perfume & Fragrances
There is something about a beautiful scent that can sometimes ignite such memories it can almost let you imagine them as if they were a picture. Many people will have a favourite perfume or scent (some have different scents for different occasions) so buying your mum her signature scent this Mother's Day is a lovely way to show her that you not only care but remember her favourites too. If your mum doesn't already have a favourite scent why not treat her to one you love, one that reminds you of her, or reminds you of a scent that brings back memories for you and her. If you need a little inspiration I absolutely love this Victor and Rolf "Flowerbomb" perfume, the scent is a floral fragrance with top notes of modern Tea, refreshing Bergamot, and feminine Freesia developing into a floral heart of Sambac Jasmine, Cattleya Orchid and Centifolia Rose. This floral bouquet dries down to woody base notes of Amber and Patchouli. Perfect for everyday wear without being too overpowering.
The great thing about gifting perfume is that it lasts ages too, it's the gift that keeps giving and giving for months after the date has passed.
A Hamper of Goodies
If you are unsure on any single gift to get the mum in your life what to get, hampers can make great gift ideas they allow you to gift a number of smaller items in a hamper so that the recipe can try out lots of different products before buying too, perfect for those who are indecisive of like to try different and new products. Of course, when it comes to hampers you can ensure they are personalised to contain everything the recipient loves. Here are two of our favourite hampers, both completely different to each other, firstly it's the Hotel Chocolat "Chocolate and Fizz box".
Each of these hampers contains a small bottle of fizz (Prosecco Superiore DOCG 200ml is light, refreshing and fruity), the classic H box of Hotel Chocolat, chocolates, sachets of decedent milky and classic hot chocolates, pink champagne truffles and a box of delicious light chocolate macarons. A real treat for any mum who loves chocolate in this hamper.
However if chocolates and fizz aren't your mum's thing or you are looking for something a little more fun or nostalgic, how about a classic wicker hamper filled to the brim with jelly sweets! This amazing hamper contains 20 different types of sweets and you can even add a personalised message to be included in your hamper. Inside you will find the following sweets -
Cola Bottles, Dolly Mixtures, Double Cherries, Fizzy Blue Bottles, Fizzy Cherry Cola Bottles, Fizzy Cola Bottles, Fizzy Sour Dummies, Giant Strawberries, Fried Eggs, Friendship Rings, Jelly Babies, Jelly Beans, Jelly Bones, Jelly Snakes, Juicy Lips, Liquorice Wheels, Pint Pots, Triple Hearts, Teddy Bears.
Comfy and Cosy
Let's face it if you are a mum reading this, or you know your mum well, you will likely know that we cannot wait for the end of the day to finish so we can rush home and dive into our pjs and comfy slippers. Gone are the days of the little black dress and skyscraper heels, instead you will find us snuggled up on the sofa in our pjs by 7pm when we can! So when it comes to Mother's Day gifts you really can't go wrong when you think along the lines of comfy and cosy!
These chunky cable knit Totes toasties tall slipper boots are the perfect slippers for comfort and warmth all year round. They have a Borg lining with both heel and arch support thanks to the durable sole and pillow step technology so provide comfort to even the most tired and achy feet.
Or how about these super soft, super snuggly lounge socks from Very which are available in a pack of 2 and in sizes 3-5 and 6-8. They are super thick and fluffy with a ribbed design to make them comfy even for everyday wear. These would be a perfect gift for someone you know who suffers from cold feet, perhaps someone who works outside and spends lots of time on their feet all day or someone who wears heavy boots, etc for work.
And finally, how about a PJ set? You can't beat snuggling down into freshly cleaned sheets and new pyjamas and I love this "Need my Space" short-sleeve pj set from Very because what mum hasn't asked for a little more space before?
? This particular set features a black t-shirt with a slogan and then galaxy print trousers with rainbow foil effect print. The scoop next and high-waisted trousers make these the perfect set to lounge around in all year round.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mums out there.
