Autumn Winter Fashion Staples from Yours Clothing

There is no denying that the cold weather is here and here to stay now and with the countdown to Christmas officially on, last month I had to finally give in and pack away the last of our summer clothes and pull out the autumn/winter wear. Now I have to admit, Autumn/Winter is my favourite time, I love the big baggy comfortable fits, the chunky knit jumpers and scarves and all the layers. So, when I realised, we would all need a bit of a wardrobe refresh for the season, I was thrilled to team up with Yours Clothing to show off a few of my favourite pieces from their autumn/winter ranges that should be staples in everybody's wardrobe.

Coats and Jackets 

My first pick has to be a coat, an autumn/winter staple for everyone and choosing a coat that will see you through all the seasons is a big deal which usually takes some time. But when I saw this absolutely beautiful Curve Black Teddy Midi Shacket I knew it was perfect! Amazing for layering up this plus size teddy coat is made from a soft faux shearling fabric and features two generous size pockets. The chunky button fastenings are stylish yet practical and the midi length is one that keeps you both warm and looks great with a variety of different looks from dressed up to casual. It really is the coat that can do it all whilst still being practical and keeping you warm all winter long. The shacket is available is sizes 14 - 34/36. 

Boots and Footwear

Next up was footwear and it is out with the sandals and in with the boots! Boots are a great autumn/winter staple because they can keep your feet and legs warm and dry in wet, cold weather and still fit with almost any outfit. I picked these Black Chunky Calf Boots in an Extra Wide Fit that feature a side zip and elasticated back panel for the ultimate comfort fit for almost any leg size. The chunky cleated nonslip sole offers great grip for the slippery wet weather or even frosty paths so there will be no slipping around in these boots making them perfect for everything from commuting to a night on the town. The rounded toe and padded lining and insole ensure maximum comfort as well as warmth in colder weather, making these boots a great all-round choice. 

Occasion and Party Wear

And finally, as the winter season approaches so does the countdown to Christmas and the countdown to Christmas means festive events, work Christmas parties and family gatherings which means only one thing.... sparkly partywear! This Yours London Curve Black Metallic Spot Wrap Dress really stood out to me as a sparkly version of the classic "little black dress". The shape is really flattering for curvy figures with a wrap style design, long loose sleeve to cover areas we may be more apprehensive about and an elasticated waistline to give a great shape without being too constrictive it ticks all the boxes. The soft woven fabric is light with a soft inner lining that fits the body well without being too tight, with a frilled hemline that really completes the feminine look. It's a party wear staple that could be dressed up or down and worn time and time again.
