3 Ways You Could Earn More Money Quickly

 **Collaborative Post**

AD: Do you need more money? We all need more money, right? There always seems to be a bill to pay, something broken that needs replacing, or the kids have had yet another growth spurt and outgrown everything they own! But there are occasions when we might need money a little more urgently right? If so, then you might feel as though your only option is to get yourself into debt, but that’s actually not true and there are other options that could be a much better solution both long and short term for you.

If you’re not sure where to turn at this time, then it’s a good thing that you’ve come across this article. Down below, we’re going to be taking a look at some of the things that you can try if you need more money. Keep reading if you would like to find out more.

Freelance Work

The first thing that we’re going to recommend is that you look into doing some freelance work. If this is not something that you’ve ever done before, the basic idea is that you provide a service to someone that you charge for, but it’s not your regular job. You’re not employed by a company, you’re completely self-employed, but you offer this service because you’re good at it. This could be anything from writing articles/blog posts, creating images or graphics, doing admin work such as copywriting, filling in spreadsheets, proofreading. Honestly the list is endless, if there is a job that people might need help with then you can probably offer your help as a freelancer!

You will find that a lot of people do this kind of work to supplement their income as it can be worked around any existing commitments, so it’s something that’s worth considering. You can bring in quite a fair chunk of cash if you’re willing to take on some more work. The key is to make this something that you enjoy so that it doesn’t even feel like work when you’re completing it.

Ask For More Hours

The next thing that we’re going to recommend is that you ask for some more hours. The business that you work for likely has a cap on overtime, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t ask to make sure you reach that cap. Obviously, the more hours you work, the more money you’re going to make, which is the entire goal here, so it’s worth asking.

We know that some people struggle with asking for things like overtime, but it really is a good option. If there are no hours in your existing job, you could look to find a few extra hours in a different job or role? Perhaps you work in the day but could pick up a few extra hours in the evening etc. If you do decide to do this, just make sure you don't end up working so many hours you burn out, the work needs to be sustainable. The worst that can happen is that your boss can say no, so you’ll be okay, we promise.

Investing

The last thing that we’re going to say is that investing is a good option. Whether you’re investing in stocks, crypto, or property, they are all good choices. You can get some property investment tips from experts to make sure that you’re on the right track. You have to keep in mind it’s not always guaranteed that your investments are going to pay off though, so like anything it can be a risk at the best of times and may not be the best option for those who cannot afford to risk losing the money as it isn't a guaranteed pay back. It’s a great way to make money though if you’re successful, so it’s a consideration for you to keep in mind.

We hope that you have found this article helpful, and now see some of the things that you can try if you are in need of some more funds. It’s not always easy to get the funds that you need, especially in this economic climate, but any of the things on this list should work. Remember that if you are facing real financial hardship there is no shame is accessing help. There are often food banks in local areas, and it is always work visiting your local citizens advice centre to see what other help you might be entitled too.

We wish you the best of luck, and hope that you see an improvement in your finances sooner rather than later.

xXx
