**AD - Review Samples Received**
After several years of lost time, lost experiences and lost events I think it is safe to say most people are pretty excited about the possibility of being able to return to all of their favourite things this summer, including festivals and seeing friends! Whether you've never been to a festival before or your a seasoned pro, seeing festivals return, live music, fields full of people having a great time and just that "festival vibe" has been amazing to see.
But when it comes to festival outfits and fashion choices, we often hear and see lots for women, but what about the men? Well I've teamed up with Mainline menswear to create a men's "festival" ready" look from their Festival essentials collection, so keep reading for some festival fashion inspiration.
Mainline menswear is an online store that offers one of the largest comprehensive ranges of men's designer clothing in the UK. They stock men's clothing for all ages, styles and budgets. Mainline Menswear stock over 100 different fashion labels, from designer to high-street brands. This includes brands such as BOSS, Adidas, Versace, Ralph Lauren, Nike, The North Face and Armani. They are constantly updating their stock, the brands they work with and the range they sell to keep up to date with the latest trends, designers and styles.
Over the last year or so James has really started to take more interest and pride in what he has been wearing and he definitely already has some favourite brands too. So when I was challenged to put together a festival ready men's outfit I knew exactly who would be up for the challenge!
He decided to opt for some black Nike club logo shorts because they are an easy staple that go with most things (and don't show dirt too easily either). He liked the fact the material (100% cotton) was soft and flexible so easy to wear in the heat and comfortable all day long. I think they look smart for both day and night too.
He then chose this fun blue Nike repeat logo t-shirt which features a stark white classic Nike tick against a vibrant blue background. The addition on the white "tape" repeat logo on both arms is a really nice feature which again shows a repeated classic Nike "swoosh" logo. Again I feel this is something that is easy to wear at a festival and looks smart without being too "dressed up". The bright blue definitely gives off the "bright" festival vibe and this could easily be paired with shorts, joggers or jeans to create different looks time and time again.
Finally he choose a The North Face mountain jacket in blue, because well would it be a good old British festival if there wasn't sunburn on one day and torrential rain, mud and flooding the next? But honestly this jacket was a great find by James, it is so light weight and the whole jacket can be folded up into its own left sleeve! It's actually so small you could easily have it in a backpack and it would take up no room at all, or even a large pocket "just in case".
This lightweight jacket features a full zip front opening as well as a press stud flap over the zip. It has a large drawstring hood as well as elasticated sleeves and waistband for the perfect fit and for keeping the rain and wind at bay. The jacket features two concealed zip fastening pockets, perfect for any valuables and cash and of course it has the signature North Face logo printed on the left of the jacket.
Both myself and James really liked the unique colour of this coat which seems to be a mix between grey and teal which make the black panels on the arms and back of the coat really stand out too. The zipped pockets are a great feature for festivals and James gave it the water test and was pleased to report back that it not only kept him dry, but the jacket itself dried really quickly too (again perfect for those festival showers).
All in all I think James did a great job and to be fair with so many options and a dedicated Festival Essentials section, Mainline Menswear make it super easy to shop with them too. He was able to find exactly what he was looking for, all a great price with top quality too.
So whether you are heading to a festival, party or just looking for some new clothes this summer, I would highly recommend checking out Mainline Menswear.
