The last year has been a bit of a whirlwind hasn't it? I can't seem to keep track of the weeks or months and I can't believe Easter is just around the corner! Because lumber was plentiful, they turned to woodcarving and eventually founded a toymaking and national Christmas tradition. This later led onto the making of the Easter Bunny figurines too. 

The folklore art of Ore Mountain in Germany are wooden crafts that make a great collector’s item to be passed down between generations, just like Black Forest cuckoo clocks. These beautifully handcrafted figurines always prove popular at places such as Christmas markets and in souvenir shops around Germany, however they are now becoming more and more popular across the world. All of the figurines and ornaments are handcrafted using the same craftsmanship that miners used in the 18th century in the Saxony region of Germany, where these wood crafts were first produced.
