I love reading up all about retro sweets and hearing how they came about, did you know that Parma Violets were launched in 1946 and were originally made as breath fresheners? Or that when the drumstick lolly was launched in 1957 it was the only chewable lolly? I also love how Swizzels have held onto some of their "retro" sweets whilst continuing to expand their range with some delicious new sweets and flavours too!
