NEW Smashers Dino Ice Age Range from ZURU!

You may have spotted on one of my previous posts (the Rainbocorns series 3 review) that we recently became part of the ZURU Instagram League which we are super excited about. It means we get to bring you guys lots of exciting reviews of new toys as well as plenty of chances for you guys to win some of those toys too! Our review today is of the new Smashers Dino Ice Age Range from ZURU, a surprise egg with a roarsome twist! 

 ZURU’s Smashers have landed in the Ice Age! In this new series smash and discover a whole range of new prehistoric surprises through the icy and slimy depths! You will need to dig through a range of slimes and smash through eggs to find lots of prehistoric surprises, but who will you find?

ZURU Smashers Dino Ice Age Surprise Egg - RRP £24.99

This giant icy surprise egg holds over 25 surprises inside that you will have to sift through slime, fizz and smash your way through to find the pieces you will need to build your exclusive smashers character. Using the arctic scratch map to excavate the Dino Ice Age you will need to work your way through growing snow, crystal slime and icy slime to discover  and collect all the pieces you need to start building one of three exclusive frozen Smash-o-saur's, will you find the T-Rex, Pterodactyl or a Woolly Mammoth?. There are also six smashers eggs inside with fun miniature collectible characters inside. 

There is a wide range of mini characters to collect including some awesome new rare characters such as blizzard bear. You can smash your eggs however you like and watch the pieces explode as they hit the ground to reveal your character inside. The great thing is these eggs can be rebuilt and smashed open again and again too. 

Once you have opened your whole surprise egg don't forget to check who you have on the collectors guide and then download the fun Smashers app. The app allows kids to interact with their new collection as well as earn smash points to become the ultimate smashers champion. 

ZURU Smashers Dino Ice Age Mini Surprise Egg - RRP £9.99

The mini egg is a slightly smaller version of the large surprise egg above but still packed with lots of fun! Inside each Smashers mini egg you will find - 1x Mini Dino Ice Age Egg shell, 1x Frozen Dino Bag, 1 x crystal slime, 1 x stretchy snow, 1 x frozen slime, 1x Dino Sticker and 1x Exclusive Mix n' Match Dino. 

There are 6 exclusive Smash-o-saur characters to collect including one rare skeleton smash-o-saur. The great thing about these characters is that they can be mix and matched so you can create all sorts of random dinosaur characters from a mix of different body parts one you collect all the characters! 

ZURU Smashers Dino Ice Age 8 Pack - RRP - £9.99

If you are looking for the ultimate in smashing fun then look no further than the ZURU Smashers  Dino Ice Age 8 pack. The pack contains 6 x Smashers eggs which will contain one slime surprise egg, 2 x characters already revealed from their eggs and a collectors guide so you can keep track of who you find. 

There are over 50 new Smashers dinosaur characters to find in this icy series including five rare dino's such as Blizzard Brontosaurus and the Snow Snake. There is even an ultra rare that glows in the dark! You can tick them off as you go on the collectors guide provided as well as interact with every character via the Smashers app too.

What do you think of the new range? Both James and Evelyn had loads of fun opening these and loved the extra addition of the slime and having to find all the different parts within the slimes! It can definitely get a bit messy so advisable to do on a table or over a tray or something but the addition of slime and excavating the pieces really extended the excitement which was great!
