Wrap Up for Winter with the Protest Fall & Winter 20/21 Collection

 **Advertisement Feature**

Did September creep up on anyone else? It seems like only yesterday we were enjoying trips to the seaside, splashing in the sea and long summer evenings. The little heatwave we had last week was a lovely way to end summer but when I looked at my window about 7.30pm last night and was faced with darkness it was a stark reminder that Autumn/Winter is well and truly on it's way.

So with that in mind last weekend I set myself the task of going through the kids wardrobes and having a good sort out. Getting rid of the things that no longer fit, packing away all the little summer dresses (feeling sad that lockdown meant lots of their holiday clothes barely got worn!) and working out exactly what they would need for the colder weather.

If you are feeling the same and have been thinking about your autumn/winter wardrobe (for you or the kids!) then it is definitely worth checking out Protest, even more so if you are planning a winter escape this year or a ski trip! They have a great range of super warm, cosy and comfortable clothing perfect for the cold winter weather. We particularly love their coats and fleeces.

Protest have just released their Fall & Winter collection for 2020/2021 and there are so many lovely pieces on there I just had to get some bits for the kids. If you haven't heard of Protest before they are a design led sportswear company from Holland who were founded in 1993. They create fashionable and functional for all boarders from snow boarders to surf boarders and everyone in between. In fact their clothes are so fashionable you don't need to have a love for boarding to have a love for their style and designs.

This year's Fall/Winter collection is made up of evolving fashion trends, incredible colour and mountain functionality. The clothes feature bold prints including plaid and leopard print and are made from fabrics that are warm and functional such as softshell, velvet and fluffy fleeces. Each collection features base layers, mid layers, outerwear and accessories that look amazing together whilst keeping you warm and dry.

I couldn't resist getting the kids a coat each, knowing that these coats are made to withstand the chilly heights of skiing, I knew they would hold up well for a chilly school run or two and a play around in the snow if we see any this year. Protest have a range of coats including womens ski jackets, men's ski jackets as well as a range of lightweight jackets and winter coats for the kids.

I opted for the Protest Barret JR Puffer ski jacket in "Swamped" (green) for Evelyn and the Protest Edwin JR Puffer ski jacket in "True Black" (black) for James.

Both coats feel like great quality and feature some lovely features such as 5k water resistance and quilted arms and body to ensure extra added warmth by trapping heat between the lines of the stitching. Other features include an attached hood, lined collars and a waist gaiter to ensure a snug and comfortable fit.

I also opted for a fleece for James as he seems to have had a huge growth spurt over lockdown and the fleeces look so warm and cosy over at Protest  As well as having a great range of warm jackets and fleeces for kids there is also lots to choose from for women's fleeces and men's fleeces as well as a wide range of other clothing/apparel perfect for winter or hitting the ski slopes!

If you fancy treating your family to some new items or perhaps a nice warm coat ready for the colder weather to roll in this year, don't forget to use code tantrum10 to receive 10% off all purchases (valid until 28th Feb 2021).

Do you like the colder weather or is summer more your favourite season? Autumn (and the lead up to Christmas of course), is definitely mine.

xXx

**This is a collaborative post, I was also gifted the coats and fleece for the purpose of this post. However all words and opinions are my own.**

  1. Putting away Summer clothes is really depressing, however I am all for pulling out my collection of jumpers right now as it is brass monkeys! I am loving the kids ski jackets, they look so cosy and warm for Winter! Sim x

  2. These coats are lovely. I always struggle to find something that all the kids will actually want to wear. My son will choose a coat himself and then refuse to wear it! Please tell me I am not alone in that?? Boys that refuse to wear coats no matter how cold it is. Like his school blazer is enough!
