Earlier this year when we started decorating the kids bedroom, one thing I knew I wanted to try and incorporate was a comfy, cosy reading corner for the kids to enjoy in their bedroom. Both James and Evelyn love to read both by themselves and together as well as bedtime story from me or their dad too of course. 

I set to work in building book shelves and filling them with lots of great books to read but we were still missing one thing, somewhere comfy to sit and read! So when the guys over at Bean Bag Bazaar got in touch to see if we wanted to try out one of their faux fur bean bags I knew exactly where we could use it, the kids reading corner!

Bean Bag Bazaar do have several sizes in their faux fur range including a junior size, adult size and even a double seat. Whilst I did want the bean bag for the kids reading corner, I opted for the adult size as it meant they both had room to sit on it together as James quite often will read along to Evelyn. Plus when they aren't using it to read, I can pinch it for relaxing on too! 

The ICON™ Kenai Faux Fur Bean Bag is extra large adult sized bean bag coated in a luxury faux fur cover. We went for the "arctic wolf" shade, however the bean bag is also available in a range of other colours including mink, cream, rose dust pink, snow leopard and Bavarian wolf.

The bean bag itself measures approximately 50cm in heigh and 85cm in both width and depth, it really is huge! My husband is almost 6ft and he can easily sit in it but more importantly it also easily holds both kids so they can sit back, relax and enjoy a good book together. 


Honestly it is one of the most comfiest things I have ever sat on! Unlike other cheaper alternatives, this bean bag is super soft with no hard seams digging into you and just the right about of filling that the seat holds it shape but still moulds to your body when you sit into it. As you sit down, you will notice the bean bag form a comfortable seating position for you to relax into thanks to the shape on the bean bag, meaning you can always get comfy in a Bean Bag Bazaar bean bag!

You can really tell the high quality products used to make these bean bags and I know it will be a comfy space that will provide the kids somewhere cosy to read and relax for years to come, even as they grow!
