However after our first real tree from Pines and Needles last year we have been converted! We absolutely loved having a real Christmas tree (and you really cannot beat that real Christmas tree smell!). In fact we were so converted that when we were invited to review another tree this year, we jumped at the chance.
Pines and Needles have indoor (Nordmann Fir), outdoor (Norway Spruce) and pot grown Christmas trees (Fraser Fir) available as well as a fantastic range of accessories such as decorations lights and tree stands.
We received a 7ft indoor Nordmann Fir Christmas tree and as soon as the tree was delivered my house was full of the smell of Christmas. It is worth noting that when you order a certain size tree it isn't guaranteed to be exactly that size. So when ordered a 7ft tree which states it can be anywhere between just under 7ft and just over 8ft. So its worth baring this in mind if you are fitting the tree in a tight space. The tree we received was almost 8ft!
When we first considered a real tree, I had visions of constantly having to hoover around the tree but that's not been the case at all. The tree has barely dropped any needles (even with the constant redecorating from Evelyn!).
If you live in London Pines and Needles will personally deliver your tree, however if you are outside of their designated delivery area your tree will be carefully delivered via courier. Pines and Needles also has over 20 Christmas Tree Stores across London where you can head to pick out your very own tree. Its the perfect excuse to head out as a family and pick your tree where you can see, touch and smell all of the trees to ensure you pick the perfect one for your home.
We absolutely love our real Christmas tree and Pines and Needles have certainly converted us, im not sure our artificial tree would ever feel the same now. The smell every time you walk into the room is amazing and our tree still looks as vibrant, fresh and green as the day it arrives. We just make sure we top up the water in the stand each day to keep it topped up.
If you have been considering a real Christmas tree then be sure to check out Pines and Needles, you won't be disappointed!
xXx
**We received our tree for free for the purpose of this review. However all words. opinions and images are my own. I retain full control of this post. **
