As most parents will agree, once you become a parent Calpol becomes a well known household brand. We always have some in the cupboard for any illness or temperature that may arise and it has helped both James and Evelyn with everything from growing teeth, illness and after jab pain. But did you know that Calpol isn't just for babies, there is a six plus range too!
CALPOL® SixPlus™ Fastmelts are a great alternative for older children and they have a new face! Indy from London who is age 7 beat off around 21,000 entries in the Calpol "Face of Fastmelts" competition to become the new face of Calpol Fastmelts!
All of the children were fantastic, and it was a very hard decision. Despite some serious competition from children all across the country, seven year old Indy stood out on the day and will soon be appearing on the Calpol SixPlus Fastmelts' packaging and advertising.
CALPOL® recognises that every child has individualities and the competition that kicked off back in February aimed to explore what the nation’s kids enjoy. Like many kids, Indy is often on-the-go. Indy’s mum revealed: “Indy loves learning new skills. She has been teaching herself gymnastics online.”
CALPOL® Sixplus Fastmelts are the only tablet for pain that melts in the mouth for little grown-ups, 6 years and over, meaning there is no need for water. These tablets offer on-the-go pain relief, perfect for the school summer holiday when many children are out and about or those middle of the night bouts of illness that keep children up in pain or discomfort. They start to work on fever in just 15 minutes without being harsh on the tummy.
These are perfect for James who is 9, he often tells me he is too old to take the "baby Calpol" and I do worry about how effective it would be for him now. These still have that Calpol "child friendly" taste but in a more effective formula for older children.
Well done Indy, we can't wait to see you on the new packaging next year!
Do you always have Calpol stocked up in your cupboards?
xXx
