Since starting my blog photography is something I have grown to love more and more. I am definitely a amateur when it comes to photography but it is something I would love to improve, so when I came across a new linky called Snapshot Saturday run by the lovely Deborah over at Super Busy Mum I knew it was something I wanted to be part of.
I am hoping that by joining this linky I can improve my own photography skills as well as having a lovely set of photos to look back at by the end of the year. There are also plenty of other fabulous bloggers taking part so I will most definitely be marveling at their beautiful photography!
My very first photo in this linky is this one I took on Christmas eve (I am going to be trying to take the pictures on each Saturday for the linky in future but I only found the linky this evening so didn't get a chance today).
I love the happiness and joy captured in their faces and it was such a fun day! We went to Wookey Hole caves to visit Santa and this was during the walk through to Santa's grotto. There was music, lights and moving animals all the way through and both James and Evelyn spent ages exploring all the displays intently.
The photo was taken on my Sony W800 Cyber-shot digital camera and whilst I love the photo I really need to spend some time working out the options and settings on the camera to use it to its full potential and hopefully get a little bit of a clearer picture especially around their faces.
So that is my picture for week 1 of the Snapshop Saturday linky. If you want to take part please click on the button below.
