You may have seen our previous review of the healthy carton drinks from The Appy food and drinks company (If not you can read it HERE).
Well this week they sent us some of their ice pops to try out!
The Appy Ice pops are new for Summer 2014 and come in 3 great flavours and designs. These are Spongebob in Juicy orange flavour, Dora the explorer in Apple and Cherry flavour and Ninja turtles in Apple and Blackcurrant flavour.
Just like all Appy products these are low in sugar and contain no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners!
They were a big hit here! They only take around 1 hour to freeze so are ready to enjoy pretty quickly and the design means you can snap them in half for smaller children (great idea!).
The Appy Ice pops tasted delicious! They had a real fruity taste, James favourite was the Ninja turtle Apple and blackcurrant and my favourite was the Apple and cherry. I hadn't heard of a apple and cheery flavour ice pop before so thought this was really unique and tasty.
There are 8 ice pops in each pack but they are quite large so for younger children you could easily snap 1 in half and share this between 2 children.

I love these ice pops, they did this sort of style when I was a kid! xx
ReplyDeleteAre these available in supermarkets? I've not seen the turtles ones about but I know Jamster would adore them! x
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately these are not in the shops just yet (hopefully the end of this month!) but you can still buy the drinks (in the same designs) from Tesco and Ocado. x
Deleteanyone got a link the amazon store they are on
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately these wont be on sale until the end of the month. x
DeleteThey sound amazing. In Birmingham we call those sort of things 'tip tops' and at the moment they are one of my big pregnancy cravings!
ReplyDeleteMy kids get through a lot of ice pops. My youngest is a huge sponge Bob fan and would be over the moon with these.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Mine would love these - and they don't look too big, either, as I always feel bad about feeding them any huge ice creams/lollies!
ReplyDeleteI love that you can snap them in half. We love ice pops and give them to all the neighbourhood kids!
ReplyDeleteWow your picture just took me back to being a kid, Ice pops I remember having them x

ReplyDeleteThe thing i don't like about ice pops is their lack of flavour but these look and sound lovely
ReplyDeleteLove ice-pops! Not had one for years!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of these - but with huge Sponge Bob fans in the house I do now!
ReplyDeleteI've not heard of these - they sound great to have in the house for the warm weather though :) x
ReplyDeleteAll three of mine love these kind of ice pops. If I let them they'd have one every hour!
